If you're interested in joining us, you can come along to our formal squad sessions, which start in September and run through to the end of May.

The club is made up of both male and female players of various nationalities from all over Hertfordshire. 

We definitely cater for and welcome beginners, but do not accept U16s (see below). The best time to join us is at the beginning of the season in September. We feel that if you can't start your volleyball journey with a village club like ours, then where can you start it? If you're reasonably fit and willing to get stuck in, we're happy to support you get to a level where you can start playing competitive volleyball with the club.

Senior Registration

Register for the 2024/25 season by completing this form (even if you recently registered at the end of the previous season).

Once you've submitted your registration, the link to sign up for Teamer is shown, which is the app we use to organise all club training and matches. Sign up for that too.

Subscriptions

September training is free for all and your first session with us at any other time of the year is also free. We prefer you to register before turning up for that free session, so we have your details in advance and can keep in touch.

Subs will consist of two payments in October and January. Last year fees were around £95 for adults and £50 for students/juniors for each half season, and we expect the fees to be similar this year depending on numbers. Fees include all Sunday training sessions, all matches and all Club tournaments, but not the separate social sessions and any additional training we might organise. We'll provide payment details once you've registered and once we kmnow what they'll be.

Squad Training

This is Sundays at Kings Langley School. We organise matches and squad training through Teamer.net. Once registered, we'll send you the link to sign up for notifications.

Our coaches come from within the club, lead by our head coach Angelo. We welcome any player with something to give to run some of the coaching sessions. 

Social Sessions

We run social indoor, outdoor and beach volleyball sessions throughout the year. These are pay and play mixed ability sessions.

Our indoor social sessions are only open to club members.

Summer

We play grass and beach volleyball throughout the summer. If you're interested, just fill out the Senior Registration form. 

Sorry, no juniors

We don't have a junior squad, so do not accept U16s except in exceptional circumstances. You need to be 16 or over on 1st September to join the club, which is what Volleyball England counts as a "Senior".  The nearest junior clubs are AST Volleyball in Barnet,  Welwyn & Hatfield and Milton Keynes, but they all have long waiting lists.

For the U18s in the club, we have a fully trained Welfare Officer and all those who come in to regular contact with the U18s are DBS checked.
