If you're interested in joining us, you can either come along to our formal squad sessions, which start on the first Sunday in September and run through to the end of the season, or join one of our social sessions, which run year long.
Most people who come along have played volleyball before, but perhaps only at school or on holiday or perhaps a long time ago. Don't worry, we're very welcoming.
We don't have a junior squad as such, but we do have some juniors playing in the adult teams, so please get in touch with any questions. We have a Welfare Officer and they along with all our coaches are DBS checked.
If you're a complete beginner, you're welcome to come along to training (in season) or social (out of season) to see whether you might get on with volleyball. We feel that if you can't start your volleyball journey with a village club like ours, then where can you start it? If you're reasonably fit and willing to get stuck in, we're happy to support you get to a level where you can start playing competitive volleyball with the club.
Any questions? Please contact us.

Subs have not yet been agreed as this depends on numbers, but we expect them to be the same as last year, which was two payments in Septermber and January of £75 for adults, £45 for students and £30 for Juniors (under 16s as of 1st September).
Squad training is Sundays at Rudolph Steiner School in Kings Langley. The first session is free and after that you need to join the club. Please note, we also play matches at the same venue at the same time, so we can't always train both squads every week. Don't just drop in to train as we might not be training that week! We organise matches and squad training through Teamer.net and you'll be invited to sign up for that when you've joined the club.
We have two training sessions running, which are for our various team squads:
4-6pm for the beginners (Rooks and Chargers) and ladies (Warriors).
6-8pm for intermediate (Knights) or advanced (Kings).
Our coach is Trevor Dean who has been involved with the club for a very long time. He'll be available to coach us on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year and when he's not, other experienced team members will take coaching.
We plan to use an external coach to bring on all players at regular workshops, but with particular attention to the men's top two teams.
We run social volleyball sessions indoors on a Thursday throughout the year and for beach volleyball from June to September. These are pay and play mixed ability sessions. If you're a beginner, give it a go and we can support you or suggest the training sessions from September.
All our social sessions are run through The Kings Langley Volleyball Club MeetUp, so register if you're interested in joining us for these. You don't have to be a club member to come along (although you can get a discount) and players from other clubs are very welcome.
